Our tee design was inspired by an actual ‘Try Slow’ fish sign on Kuhio Highway, but you can find the same phrase spray-painted, drawn, and sketched on buildings and signs all around Kauai. It’s a reminder to savor the in-between moments and enjoy island time. For every tee sold, 5% goes toward buying season trophies for the Kauai Youth Football (KYF) League.
Our tees are made from 100% Peruvian Pima cotton in a small Lima factory owned by a husband-and-wife team, Paul and Diana. Pima cotton’s extra-long fibers and hand-harvesting make it one of the finest fabrics in the world: buttery-soft and delicate to the touch, but durable enough for everyday wear. To take care of your tee, wash it in cold water with like colors and tumble dry low. (We also recommend avoiding washing it with harsher fabrics or hardware-heavy items—your shirt will last a lifetime, but it doesn’t like to be poked!)
Our men’s and women’s shirts are true-to-size with a relaxed fit. Questions? Get in touch at
